DESCRIPTION:California Slate is made of acrylic aggregate and portland cement. This hardens to result in the type of texture pictured here. California Slate is not a slate stone. It is a faux slate look. The additive and powders are mixed in 5 gallon buckets until achieving a milky consistency. The liquid mix is then spread directly into any clean concrete surface. The mix is troweled to achieve a unique slate look. Once the material sets, it creates a durable, beautiful, textured surface for pool decks, patios, walkways and any desired concrete surface. The entire installation process typically takes 2-3 days. ADVANTAGES: California Slate can be easily repaired. Lifetime: 10-15 years. It is available in many colors. Add granules for a skid resistant surface. (Ask your customer rep for this upgrade) It is also versatile and multi colors can produce an elegant unique pool deck. SPECS: Thickness: 1/8".
